MSDE BRIDGE PLAN FOR ACADEMIC VALIDATION
HSA Academic Validation Program for Rising Seniors
Program Description
The Bridge Plan for Academic Validation is an optional program available for students who are having difficulty passing one or more of the HSAs. The program has been developed by the Maryland State Board of Education and will be administered by Prince George’s County Public Schools.

12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. – session 2
The AVP summer program is free for students. There will be no fee for registration or tuition. Transportation is the responsibility of the parent/guardian/student. Teachers and students should bring their meals.
Student Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the program students must meet these criteria:
· Currently enrolled in and passing all classes needed for graduation;
· Attending school regularly according to PGCPS attendance policy;
· Have completed all other graduation requirements;
· Be classified as a rising senior in high school.
