SCHEDULING

We have volunteer positions available pre-festival, during the Festival and post-festival.List, in order of preference, up to three positions you would like work on the days you are available. Please also indicate how many shifts you would like to work, the earliest you can start and when your last shift must end by. A typical shift is approximately 3 hours. Please see attached job descriptions to see what jobs are available.

Your hard work, endless support and generosity is invaluable to Northwest Folklife. We sincerely thank you for the donation of your personal time in support of the 42ndNorthwest Folklife Festival, we could not produce the Festival without you! One of the ways we are showing our appreciation is through our Volunteer Appreciation Program. The program recognizes and thanks all of our amazing volunteers, especially those who go above and beyond their assigned tasks! There will be raffles conducted on Monday, May 27th (you will have up to 2 weeks to pick up your gift at the Northwest Folklife offices) as well as gifts given out to exceptional volunteers throughout the weekend!

RELEASE AGREEMENT
I agree to indemnify, defend and hold Northwest Folklife, the City of Seattle and the SeattleCenter harmless from any and all claims, actions, damages, charges and expenses which arise out of or in any way relate to my volunteer activities concerning the 2011 Northwest Folklife Festival. Iunderstand and agree that my participation binds me to Washington State Department of Labor regulations with respect to my volunteer duties with northwest Folklife. Northwest Folklife may record or photograph my activities at the Festival and use these images and/or recordings for promotional or other purposes.
Please Note - City of Seattle Firearms Policy:
All persons, except law enforcement officers, are prohibited from possessing any firearm on the permitted premises. You must adhere to this prohibition and take reasonable steps to notify all persons who work or participate with you on the premises of SeattleCenter of this prohibition either verbally or in writing, and you must enforce this prohibition for the duration of your use of the SeattleCenter grounds.
