9.  Proof of UK citizenship

10.  Proof of England Fencing membership

We will check this via the BF number you have provided.

Applicants for EF grants must be UK Citizens, and members of England Fencing, and not hold an EFC or FIE licence for any other nation, nor plan to do so in the foreseeable future.

Paid invoices for courses, trips or equipment must be submitted to the Panel once the grant has been spent.

England Fencing will not give grants to fencers who are selected for squads and who intend to take parent/s or a personal coach along to the event. You will be asked to confirm this if you are offered a grant. If a parent or coach is found to have gone to an event, EF will ask for the grant to be repaid.

It is beneficial for personal coaches to go to competitions with their fencer, but this will not be funded by EF.

For the avoidance of doubt, it is understood that 1 adult will need to accompany a GBR nominated Cadet squad fencer. This is exempt from the restriction above.
