96.5 KISS FM & PEPSI OFFER FREE IYAZ CONCERT
& FREE ADMISSION TO WILDWATERKINGDOM WHEN TEENS SIGN THE TEXT PLEDGE
Tuesday, June 1, 2010, Cleveland, Ohio…It's important to practice safe driving, and that includes putting away your cell phone every time your hands are on the wheel. 96.5 KISS FM has embarked on a massive public service campaign to encourage teens to put down the cell phone while driving. Teens are encouraged to take the KLABEN TEEN TEXT PLEDGE at then will be treated to a FREE concert with Warner Brother Recording artist IYAZ and FREE admission to GeaugaLake’s WildwaterKingdom on Friday, June 11th.
The process is simple. 96.5 KISS-FM in conjunction with Klaben, Pepsi, Channel 3 and GeaugaLake's WildwaterKingdom want all teens to sign the Klaben Teen Text Pledge. Once you head to KISSCLEVELAND.COM, download and print the pledge, then bring it to GeaugaLake's WildwaterKingdom on Friday, June 11th. The first 965 Teens in line at the park with their signed pledge form will get into the park for FREE that day only!
To celebrate this commitment to safety, KISS FM and PEPSI will also offer a FREE concert featuring Warner Brothers recording artist IYAZ! IYAZ’s song, “Replay” hit #1 on the Billboard Pop Charts. The Sean Kingston protégé broke last fall with the single “Melody,” which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Another IYAZ hit is, “Solo.”
“As kids get out of school for summer, this program will remind them to be safe each time they get behind the wheel,” said Bo Matthews, Program Director for 96.5 KISS FM. He continued, “KISS FM is proud to make a difference in the community and happy to offer this free concert and admission to WildwaterKingdom with our fine partners.”
In order to sign the Klaben Teen Text Pledge, you must be at least 15 years old and under the age of 20. KISS FM will begin checking ID's and accepting pledge forms at 10:30AM on Friday, June 11th at the main gate of WildwaterKingdom. The free admissions will be cut off at 1:30PM or whenever the 965 are awarded, whichever comes first. Get there early and line up with your Klaben Teen Text Pledge in hand!
