Artist Statement
I ammulti diciplinary artist based in Copenhagen Denmark. My work includes installation and durational and interactive performance. I paint on a range of issues regarding the politics of immigration, the language that has come to define the “other” and Malaysian cultural tradition. Through these works a participatory dialogue forms between the myself and theaudience, which leads to a rupturing of conventional notions of subject formation and exclusionary politics.
