The Martian Reflection EXTRA CREDIT

DUE: ______

This year you had the opportunity to participate in the yeast lab, a brand new lab used to learn about design problem solving. Before the lab, we watched a scene from the movie The Martian to witness how a NASA scientist put the Design Problem Solving process into action, and after the lab, you had the chance to watch the entire film. The use of the movie was a decision I made to help you connect the process with the discussions we have had about the exploration and colonization of Mars, but it is NOT an official part of our Astronomy curriculum.
