LIST OF FINDING AIDS IN THE RECORDS MANAGEMENT/ARCHIVE
DBTextWorks database Lists all records that have come into the system since October 2001.
Accession Electronic Accession Register admission of records since January 2002
Record Location Location of all records is entered on catalogue database (DBTextWorks), most records are stored offsite with either Pinnacle Data Management (PDM), London Metropolitan Archives (LMA) or deposited with School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS).
Some 1300 boxes are located in ICH basement, most of which belong to Finance and HR departments.
Space allocation and records retrieval managed by archivist.
Finding Aid Janet Lacey 1st Director of Christian Aid – information about Janet Lacey can be found by searching DBTextWorks database; some records are stored with School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) for these university catalogue can be consulted.
Gulf War/Crisis – also searchable on database, most records with (PDM).
Organisation Charts Both hard copy and electronic copies available.
Production Register Records withdrawals from the storage area under the new system from 20 March 2002. At the back of this register in a separate section are the production records prior to this date. There is also an electronic recall system set up on DBTextWorks called ‘Archive Loans’. All records are registered on both electronic and paper recall system to keep track of boxes.

Old Accession Registers
In use prior October 2001 when archivist took up the post. Accession registers may help to identify when records were transferred off-site or destroyed. Accession folders are all kept in the small archive office.
Majority of these records would have been weeded, appraised and entered on DBTextworks, and some destroyed.
