Annual Pastor / Superintendent Interview Form

2014/2015

Name: ______Church: ______

The North Central Conference envisions “Bringing Jesus to the North Central United States through growing and planting healthy congregations advanced by boldly apostolic leaders working synergistically together.” The Free Methodist Church envisions and expects that all churches will be healthy with spirit-filled leadership working a plan to fulfill expected outcomes. These outcomes flow from a healthy church defined as a praying, worshiping, discipling, evangelizing, multiplying, culture engaging, global-missions minded and purpose driven congregation. Under orders from Jesus Christ to make disciples, the heart of an evaluation of pastoral effectiveness is a church characterized by conversion growth – reaching one more soul.

The first part of this evaluation is an opportunity to reflect upon the scope of ministry a pastor engages. The second part seeks to identify personal areas of growth as a spiritual leader. The final part provides an opportunity to identify a few key goals for maximum personal and corporate growth.

With your superintendent or assistant superintendent), identify the top three areas you believe should be prioritized for development in the coming year and develop an action plan.

Evangelism: aim to personally lead at least 5 or more people to Christ this year. (2Tim.4.5)

Community Involvement: be actively involved in your community. (Matthew 25:33-36)

Navigate Change: lead towards ever improved spiritual health & great-commission effectiveness.

(Acts 6:1-7)

Mentoring: disciple emerging leaders who can disciple other leaders. (2Tim.2.2)

Church Connection: Actively engaged NCC, FMCUSA and missions service. (Eph.1.15,16)
