Social Studies

In May, we are discussing family roles and responsibilities as well as Mother’s Day. For Mother’s Day, we always have so much fun! We all love making nice things for Mom.

Please make sure your child knows his/her address and phone number since this is vital information every child should know.

Summer is Coming!

During the last week of school, you will receive a calendar with activities your child can do over the summer.

Health

In health, the children will discuss the importance of making good choices. They will recognize that there are consequences to actions and behaviors. They will also discuss summertime safety.

Science

In May, the students will studyocean animals.

Field Day!

On May 6th, the kindergarten will have a Field Day playing games all day long. The children will need to wear play clothes, (not swimsuits) shoes to run in, and sunscreen. Your teacher will send home more information as the date nears.

Thank you!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the many volunteers who have given their time to help the kindergarten teachers and children this year. We feel you have given us the very best support in the classroom and out of it. The children are the ultimate beneficiaries of your efforts. Thank you, so very much!
