Good Afternoon Parents!!!
I wanted to extend a warm welcome to you and your kids to our Champions Before and After School Program. Tomorrow is our first day of program and we are so excited to meet your kids and welcome them to our phenomenal program.
START DATE: Please be aware that there is a 48 business hour processing period once you register your child for your child to start the program. Once you finished registering it should have generated a start date on the system.
Curriculum: Our Curriculum promotes child engagement with fun learning activities that are specifically adapted by our teachers to bring out the best in your child. Our goal is to inspire your child to follow his or her curiosity across a breadth of subjects - creative arts, math and construction, library time, puzzles and games, and science – to foster mental, physical, social, and emotional growth. This integrated educational experience will help to build on what your child is learning throughout the school day! Our weekly Unit Plans will be posted for you to see on a daily basis.
Homework: Time will be set aside for homework support to prepare your child for the next school day.
Snack: The students will receive a healthy snack every afternoon for the Afterschool program. Feel free to send your child a Healthy (NUT – FREE) Snack as well if you prefer.
Breakfast will NOT be provided by the Champions Program. However, you are welcome to send them something for breakfast if you would like.

Morning Program
7:00-7:30 am Arrival & Interest Areas
7:30- 8:00 am Welcome Activity & Theme Related Activity
8:00- 8:30 am Breakfast (Bring your own or school’s breakfast program, if qualify)
and Interest Areas
8:30/8:35 am Dismissal into classroom
Afternoon Program
3:00 - 3:15 pm Attendance and Welcome Activity
3:15 - 4:30 pm Snack (We provide healthy snack), Homework, and Interest Areas
4:30 - 5:00 pm Fitness Activity and Group Games
5:00 – 5:45 pm Theme-Related Activity
5:45 – 6:00 pm Clean up and Program close
Drop off: Champions Before and Afterschool Programs will be held in the Multipurpose Rooms at School #3, #4, #5, #7, #8 and #10. When you drop off and pick up you will be asked to sign your child IN and OUT every day.

à NOTE: Parents of School #9 students: If you have enrolled your child for the
before school program, please drop your kids off at School #10 in the morning.
Students will then be bussed to School #9 to start the school day. In the
afternoon, students will be picked up from school #9 and bussed to school #10
for Program.
à NOTE:Middle School Parents: NO bussing available for the Morning program. At
school dismissal, students will be bussed to School #8 for the Afterschool
program. Parents pick up from School #8 (183 Union Ave.)
Pick up: ALL Parents or Guardians that are picking up their children MUST Present an ID at all times. You will be asked to get it if it’s forgotten. Please know that this is for your child’s own safety and part of our procedures.
Programs for Parents: If you have Programs for Parents you will be required to call in and out using the Site Director’s cell phone, which is linked to your Subsidy information. Unfortunately, at the time we do not have the swipe machines. We will let you know when they arrive so you can swipe in and out from then on.
School Start Time (8:35am): For the first 2 weeks students will be walked to their classrooms at 8:35am, or will line up with their teachers (INSIDE the building ONLY) right before the teachers go up to their classrooms. Once the students are adjusted to the routine they will be sent up to their classrooms once the teachers are there.
School End Time (3:10/3:15pm): Champions students will be dismissed to us in the multipurpose rooms where we will greet them, take attendance and begin our programs for the day. NOTE: School #9 students will be bussed to School #10 to begin program.
Family Communication Boards: These will be available at all site Locations and it will have important information for you such as: program schedules, unit plans, snack menu, staff contact information…etc.
Site Directors: Each site will have 1 Site Director and 1+ Site teacher(s) available teaching your children at all times. Site Director will be giving you their contact information on the first day. Site Director per site:
