  • Location of your destination in Japan including which island it is on, and whether it is north, south, east, west or central on that island.
  • Description and names of this destination’s most interesting geographical features such as mountains, rivers, sea, plains, hot springs, volcanoes, caves, islands, etc.
  • Climate, seasons, (this varies widely from areas of cold winters and heavy snowfall in the north to sub-tropical climates in the south). Advise readers of the best times of year to visit this destination.

In this panel, you will arouse your traveler’s curiosity with information aboutthe history and culture that make this area unique, fascinating and well-worth visiting. Search throughout your prefecture for 3 famous attractions such as a:

  • classical garden
  • medieval castle
  • Buddhist temple
  • Shinto shrine
  • museum
  • tea ceremony pavilion
  • open air market place

Write a brief description of each of your attractions including key information such as age, size, historical importance and why it is worth visiting.

In this panel, you will describe traditions, festivals and celebrations of the seasons that are important in this area of Japan. Include the dates and locations of events, and give any interesting background information you can find. Use rich, descriptive language to help your readers understand why these traditions, festivals and celebrations are “must-see”events.

Font should be large; but, the names must be able to fit inside your margins.

If you want to write the name in Kanji in addition to the Romaji name, leave some space to hand write it in after printing. Practice writing the kanji before writing it on your brochure.
