Notes
Join 4P to 5P
Add a pin on D7 on B4 climate connector to control heater valve 2-way vacuum solenoid. This wire should connect to ground pin of solenoid. Tap + wire from HVAC box harness
Tap illumination for temp display off 3 pin connector.
Take 4/87a wire off relay connector and connect to cut wire(Bk/Gr) that went to 5/T on the AC relay.
Color Key
Br - Brown
Bk - Black
Bl - Blue
W - White
Y - Yellow
Gn - Green
Gr - Grey
P – Purple
R – Red
1st color is primary color/2nd color is secondary stripe (not as big as 1st color)
Parts needed:
-B4 Center console frame from auto climate car
-B4 Auto HVAC box and climate control head (might be able to use evaporator inside, but I played it safe and used my existing one in the new box)
-Outside temp display (Assuming that most auto climate cars had them installed)
*-Extra D connector to get D7 pin from for 2 way vacuum valve
*-2-way vacuum solenoid for heater valve control (this might not be necessary if you don’t mind just the flap controlling heat. I preferred to not have the extra heat in there)
#-B3 AC programmer climate control connector
#-B3 climate control head connector (take from your existing climate control head or grab one at a junkyard. Note: pins broken off the circuit board are coated to prevent shorts, sand/grind off the protective layer before soldering wires to it)
-B4 90 AC clutch relay
#If you don’t mind cutting your harness you could just forgo the plug n play bit and connect the adapter harness to your existing one in the car with butt splices or solder it straight in.
*Not necessary for a functional swap. Heat is controlled by the internal flaps in the climate box
