Which Position Are You Applying For?
Please select the position you’d like to apply for. If you’d like to apply for more than one, rate your order of preference.
[ ] Middle School Intern-Middle School Interns must be at least 19 years old. They will oversee and assist in the following areas:
1) Middle School specific camps, trips, and missions experiences.
2) Weekly programs. Leading, teaching, and developing curriculum for bible studies and Sunday School.
3) Outreach Events. Summer Sunday nights such as walking to DQ in Halloween Costumes, 80’s Skate Night, tubing, and our annual end of the summer “Hootenanny”.
[ ] High School Intern-High School Interns must be at least 19 years old. They will oversee and assist in the following areas:
1) High School specific camps, trips, and missions experiences.
2) Weekly programs. Leading, teaching, and developing curriculum for bible studies and Sunday School.
3) Outreach Events. Summer Sunday nights such as Root Beer, Bands and Bingo,Drive-in Movie Night, tubing, and our annual end of the summer “Hootenanny”.
Successful Applicant Requirements and Agreement:
* A personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and an active involvement in a local church.
* A desire to be a team member in a ministry dedicated to communicating the Word of God, the truth of His Word, and the difference living for Him can make in our lives.
* Must have energy to plan, communicate, and implement children and student programs, retreats, activities, and Bible studies.
* Have a willingness to learn, have a flexible attitude, a servant heart and a desire to be a teachable servant of Christ Jesus.
* I agree to actively participate in InternBible studies and training sponsored by RUMC staff.
*ALL Summer Interns will assist where needed in their ministry area. ALL Summer Interns will have the opportunity to teach lessons and share with students your gifts and abilities.
* I agree that if I am selected as an intern at Roswell UMC, I have the ability to complete or have met all of the above requirements.
