Occupational Summary

Coordinate and participate in the planning and management of data collection and maintenance systems to assist project and/or program directors in project related activities.

Work Performed

Plan, implement and coordinate systems designed to monitor the collection, storing, cleaning and dissemination of data related to specific projects as required to assist programs and/or projects director.

Maintain liaison with project participants, including researchers, project personnel, participating subjects as well as other interested parties to establish a communication system to coordinate the various aspects of the project; respond to inquiries about the project according to established policies and procedures. Maintain liaison with faculty members, practicing professionals and representatives of related projects to coordinate the collection and dissemination of related data.

Prepare reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations and/or conclusions as requested.

Review and evaluate data monitoring and handling systems to determine consistency of data collected from various sources; recommend changes and modification to systems as required to ensure timeliness, accuracy and efficiency.

Recommend various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, promotions, performance appraisals, transfers and scheduling time off.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Required Qualifications at this Level

Education/Training: / Work requires communication and analytical skills normally acquired through a 4 year college education.
Experience: / Work requires a general knowledge of research methods, procedures and activities normally acquired through 1 year of social science research experience.
OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
