Digital Marketing Modern Apprenticeship @ SCQF level 6

We are two linked organisations based in Inverness, working within the childcare training and services sector across Highland & Moray. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant who is creative, has an interest in social media and how it can be used positively to promote business, and is passionate about learning and gaining a recognised qualification.

Job Overview

30 hours per week, fixed term 12 months, shared between the two organisations.

£5.00 per hour

The Job will involve using a variety of digital marketing techniques such as social media advertising, marketing on mobile devices and email marketing. It will also include tasks such as imaging and video software in order to advertise the organisations.

What might a typical day in this job look like?

As well as being involved in the daily business administrative tasks such as answering phones, photocopying, maintaining records and data-based etc. you will be actively involved in the digital marketing of both businesses. Days will vary but tasks will include sending out email marketing emails. Marketing on mobile devices and promoting social media advertising. You will also learn more bespoke tasks such as imaging and video software and understanding the principles of social media with a business.

You will work between both organisations based in Inverness and will be required to attend mandatory training days with the training provider (Virtual Learning Academy) in Invergordon. (travel paid)

What will I learn?

In addition to general office duties, you will learn about using digital media such as smart phones, social media, tablets TV and game consoles to reach consumers. The Diploma in Digital Marketing at SCQF level 6 provides learners with a qualification that demonstrates underpinning knowledge and evidence of competence in digital marketing.

The qualification includes: understanding the business environment; understanding legal, regulatory and ethical requirements in sales or marketing; using collaborative technologies; principles of marketing and evaluation; developing professionalism; and digital marketing metrics and analytics.

What qualifications or qualities are required?

No prior qualificationsare necessary however core skills at SCQF level 5 are desirable.
