Purpose:

TheprimarypurposeoftheAssociatePastoristoprovidesupportfor theleadpastor.

Responsibilities:

  • AssociatePastorshallbedirectlyaccountabletotheLeadPastorandultimatelyaccountabletoGod.
  • Willmeetwithpastortodiscussanyissues,needsandkeeppastoradvised.Willassistleadpastorwithhospitalandinhomevisitationaspastordirects.
  • Giftedandiscalledtoministry,lovespeople,andhasapassionforevangelismandoutreach, bothpersonallyandattheministrylevel.
  • Engagingteacher,withastrongbiblicalbackground,whoisinagreementwithFundamental TruthsandStatementof Faithofour denomination.
  • Providecounselingandspiritualdirectiontoonanindividualbasis.
  • Participateasneededorrequestedintheevaluationanddevelopmentoftheoverallchurch ministry.
  • Attendworshipservices,prayerservice,andspecialmeetings.
  • PreachandteachonoccasionintheabsenceoftheLeadPastor.

Qualifications:

  • AuthenticrelationshipwithJesusChristasSaviorandLord.Loveandrespectforpeople.
  • Ab.ilitytoorganize and coordinate.
  • Senseofhumorandpositiveattitude.
  • Strongteamplayerwiththerestof thestaffandcongregation.
  • Committedtothechurch'svision,leadership,andpeople.
  • Dependable,responsible,self-motivatedandcreative.
