MR. CORCORAN’S LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION GUIDELINES

I would be pleased to write a letter of recommendation for you, but I need your help to complete the process. Before any letter will be written by me, you must meet with me and provide the following items:

  1. Student Questionnaire – complete this form with as much detailed information as possible. You don’t have to answer every question but the more information I have, the more complete our letter will be. This form is available on the CHS website by going to my page directly. On the website, click on the Academics link, Departments link, Science link, Mr. Corcoran’s link and go to “Requesting Letters of Recommendation” on the left side of the page. You may also wish to attach a resume.
  1. Application forms - Many colleges have specific forms to complete or they may accept the Common Application. Print any necessary forms, complete any student sections if required, and provide these to me.
  1. Stamped, Addressed Envelopes – Provide your letterwriter with a stamped, addressed envelope for each college or scholarship program.

Please allow at least two weeks lead time prior to the deadline for this process to be completed.
