Los Angeles, January 17, 2015–Slide on wire canopies have become a common part of modern outdoor design for their simplicity, beauty and ability cover long projections to provide shade when needed and retracted easily when desired. They are typically installed between two opposing walls or post and on free standing structures like pergolas and patio covers that provide little shade.
However slide on wire canopies have many drawbacks because they are custom made. To fit properly, they require precise pre-measurement, fabric and color selection, weeks of fabrication and finally installation. Once installed,these canopies like other shade systems can’t be modified and any repairs (if possible) require a trip back to the shop.Dr. Alan Shargani the inventor of Infinity Canopyencountered these draw backs first hand as a consumer and felt that the current canopies were inadequate. Sohe designed a revolutionary canopy that is adaptable, versatile, and simply, Infinite.
Unlike custom canopies that are one piece, Infinity Canopy’s unique modular design uses individual shade panels that are connected together one at a time to create a canopy that can be as long and wide as needed, in one or multiple colors, and adaptable to any space. Every aspect of Infinity Canopy can be changed even after installation to create Infinite configuration and designs not possible by any other shade system.
The most compelling feature of Infinity Canopy is theability to create a single or multicolored canopy and change its color and look within minutes. Start with a single color canopy or multi colored canopy, change it to match the colors of your new furniture, celebrate withyour team’s colors or turn your canopy red, white and blue for the 4th of July”. In a multi colored canopy the panels can be placed in various patterns to create new and unique designs.
Infinity Canopy was unveiled at the awning industry’s main event, IFAI EXPO, on Oct. 12014 and won the ShowStoppers prize for the best new product in the shade category.
