David Beckham, speaking at the launch of the 2016/17 Manchester United away kit at the newly-reopened adidas Store on Oxford Street, said:

-DAVID BECKHAM Q&A-

adidas: Tell us what you’re doing in London today?

DB: It’s the re-opening of the adidasstore on Oxford Street,I only live 10 minutes down the road so it’s nice to be here. We’ve also launched the newadidas Manchester United away kit.

adidas: What do you think of the new Manchester United away kit?

DB: I’m always excited when the club release a new kit and I think adidas have created a great design. I like it and I think it’s going to be a big hit with the fans and players.

adidas: You met Stormzy today. How was that?

DB: Stormzy is a great guy and a humble person, he’s obviously very talented so it was awesome to meet him today. It’s the first time we’ve met but my kids are big fans of his.

adidas: What do you think of PFA Young Player of the Year Award winner Dele Alli?

DB: I like Dele Alli as a player because he plays with no fear. He is a young and confident player who is not afraid to show how good he is on the field. Every fan, every England fan, every Tottenham fan wants to see him step onto the field and do well at Euro 2016.

adidas: What advice have you got for young England players going in to their first tournament?

DB: Go out there and enjoy it because these occasions don’t come around that often. When you have a chance to play for your country and a chance to play in a big competition, you have got to enjoy the moment and just go out for the win.

adidas: Did you think a team like Leicester City could defy the odds and win the Premier League this season?

DB: It is amazing after Leicester had the season they did last year, fighting against relegation. It is an unbelievable story. They deserve it because they have proved themselves week in and week out and have been the best team in the league this year. They have an amazing team spirit but they also have amazing talent and when you have that combinationwith a manager as experienced as Claudio Ranieri, anything is possible in football. They have proved that this year.
