I. COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Do you have information on your family that you would like to share with others, perhaps relatives you do not even know yet? The best way is to set up a webpage and start posting information about your family, having other family members provide information as well as photographs of great grandpa, for example. You can even add video or audio, for example, have great grandma sing her lullabies so that future generations can access them. We will also set up a contact page so relatives, perhaps in other countries, can contact you to add their own stories.

Bring a laptop if you want to use your own computer

Provide instruction on how to create a basic webpage
Provide instruction on how add links to the webpage
Provide instruction on how to add photos to the webpage
Provide instruction on how to add video to the webpage
Provide instruction on how to add audio to the webpage
Provide instruction on how to allow others to edit the webpage
Provide instruction on how to get help on developing the webpage
IV. COURSE OUTLINE
Set up your log in to the website editor
Design the look and feel of the website
Create pages on the website.
Add content to the page: pictures, text, audio, video, contact form.
Create a URL for your page
V. STUDENT EVALUATION: This class is graded on a pass/fail. If you register and do not attend class you will receive a fail grade.
