Second Quarter Literature Project
Pumpkin Character
Due date: October 31, 2008
Theme: Decorate a pumpkin to look like a storybook character.
Choose a pumpkin of any size or shape. (The pumpkin can be a real pumpkin or plastic. Just remember you have to get it to school and back home!) Choose a fiction or non-fiction book and read it. If you choose a fiction book your pumpkin should be decorated like the main character of your book. If you choose a non-fiction book the pumpkin can be decorated in the theme of the book (such as an ocean, bat, etc.). You may use anything you wish to make your pumpkin come to life. The book should be an appropriate one to bring to school. Let’s stay away from cartoon, TV or horror movie characters.
