Matt, My mother was Florence Robinson born in Jackson Co. KY. Her Dad moved his family to Laurel Co. KY when mother was 3 years old to get away from the fued. The Robinson's had been in Clay Co. since about 1795. I was born in 1933 in Laurel Co. KY. I came to TN when my Dad got a job at Oak Ridge in '45. I now live south of Rockwood, in Roane Co. TN about 50 miles west of Knoxville.
Charlie Templar still has a profile on aol but I haven't seen him online in a while. His e-mail address is . My sister who lives in Baltimore has a copy of the book he did on the Jackson family. I did not get one, no good reason, just kept putting it off. My sister, Venus, told me about him saying in the book that Amanda's brother, and I'm sure it was Wilson came to Clay Co. to take care of her children after her death. The children were my grandma and her sister Florence. I think Charlie said they were with Wilson Fletcher in the 1880 census, I'm not sure of this.Florence was still with him I think in 1920 census in Clay Co. What do you have doubts about? I also will look for you.
