Having previously sought their advice, your completed application should be sent to your local Common Good Link Officer. They will forward your application on to the local Church of England Vicar who is able to comment on the application in an advisory role and provide a supporting statement for your application, and the local vicar will have one week to respond. The vicar’s input alone won’t determine the outcome of your application but we value their local knowledge, perspective, and input. The local Link Officer will also review it and may offer you recommendations, before forwarding it to Church Urban Fund (acting for Near Neighbours in assessing and administering the grants). The grants assessors will test it against our criteria and then make a decision on your application, which normally takes at least two weeks, and they will contact you directly with their decision.
