How much credit can I earn?
We offer 24 hours of credit for CPAs, 21 for EAs, and 20 for attorneys. We are an approved provider with the Indiana State Board of Accountancy, the Indiana Commission for Continuing Legal Education, and the IRS. All courses are offered within the 8 to 5 time period. We offer 4 hours of accounting, 3 hours of new tax law, 2 hours of ethics, 13 hours of other relevant federal tax issues and a 1 hour presentation by the Commissioner of the Indiana Department of Revenue.
How do I sign up?
You have three options for registration and payment:
1. Sign up at our website, www.itpaseminar.com, and pay by credit card through Paypal.
2. Sign up at our website and then mail your check to: ITPA, 1645 N 850 West, Shipshewana, IN 46565.
3. Fill out the registration form and send it along with your check.
The Indiana Tax Practitioners Association’s 66th Annual Tax Seminar will be held on December 11-13, 2017 at the 502 East Carmel Drive Event Center, Carmel, IN, for the low cost of $365. Preregistration at this price is underway until midnight November 30.
We have recommended that the seminar qualify for a total of 24 hours of CPE with the Indiana State Board of Accountancy and 21 hours with the IRS. We have requested that the seminar qualify for 20 hours of CLE with the Indiana Commission for Continuing Legal Education.
· All class material will be distributed at the seminar prior to class times.
· Enrollment can be by mail or at our website, www.itpaseminar.com.
· Please preregister. Enrollment at the door will be limited.
· Credit cards will only be accepted on our website.

What about lodging?
We have made arrangements with Holiday Inn, 251 East Pennsylvania Parkway, Indianapolis-Carmel to offer hotel rooms at a reduced rate of $114 plus tax per night for the seminar. The rooms are standard king with a sofa sleeper and will sleep a maximum of 4 people.
To take advantage of the special rate, call (317) 574-4600, Ext. 1, and ask for the Indiana Tax Practitioners’ Association (ITPA) rate. The hot breakfast buffet, normally an additional charge, is included in the price. The room must be reserved before November 28. Reservations made after that date are subject to the best available rate. Don’t skip the answer to the next question!
Doesn’t Carmel have scary roundabouts? (Free Shuttle Service Available)
While some people are understandably concerned about driving through a roundabout, others find it no problem at all. If you are one who is concerned, you might want to take advantage of our Holiday Inn deal; it not only includes a free breakfast but it also includes free shuttle service to and from the seminar. The shuttle schedule will be available at check in.
How do I get to the seminar site?
From East, West or South
Take I-465 around to the north side of Indianapolis. Exit on Keystone Parkway and go north to 116th Street. Turn left (west) on 116th Street to AAA Way. Turn right (north) on AAA Way to Carmel Drive. The 502 East Carmel Drive Event Center will be directly across Carmel Drive.
From North on US 31
Continue south on US 31 to Keystone Parkway. Continue south on Keystone Parkway to the Carmel Drive exit. Turn right (west) on Carmel Drive. The 502 East Carmel Drive Event Center will be on the right in approximately .2 mile.
What do I need to know about the lunch provided?
First of all, it is a good, hot lunch which has no additional charge because it is paid for as part of your registration amount. It is prepared on site. There is no refund if you choose to eat elsewhere. Each day two entrees will be offered and at least one will be gluten free.
