Policies and Expectations

Make-up Work-Students are expected to complete make-up work within three days of an absence. Students are responsible for finding out what work has been missed immediately upon returning to school. At no time is a student to miss additional class time or another class in order to make up work. Make-up tests or quizzes should be scheduled as soon as possible after missed.

Tardies to Class-Students are expected to obtain all class materials and be ready to begin class when the tardy bell rings. Upon the accumulation of three unexcused tardies to a class, after-school detention will be assigned. For each tardy obtained from that point on the student will be referred to the administration. Internet use will not be acceptable once the bell has rung unless permission has been granted by the instructor for a class activity.

Cheating-Plagiarism and cheating are serious offenses and may be punished by failure on an assignment and/or suspension from school. No exceptions will be made—there is no excuse for this!
