Following the sudden and unexpected passing of PHRAA’s Chairman Malcolm Samways on April 4th 2017, a key member of the PHRAA team, Friends, Supporters,Members of PHRAA may be concerned about what will happen to PHRAA now? Will it keep going as before..?
Please let us reassure you all,( including UPO’s and other enemies of PHRAA) that PHRAA will definitely continue to “TELL IT AS IT IS” and carry on working exclusively for, and fighting forthe right of all park home owners to a fair deal in the same way as always, which we know Malcolm would have wished us to do.
Obviously there will be some changes. The main one being that as Malcolm, as well as being the Chairman of PHRAA, was also Membership Secretary with all that entails. Malcolm obviously kept all the records and membership lists at his home, where they were rightly kept strictly confidential, but means that it may take us some time to sort things out.
Joan Williams, PHRAA’s Treasurer has kindly agreed to take over as Membership Secretary in Malcolm’s place as soon as possible when members files and lists can be downloaded from Malcolm’s computer. Please may we ask that members, especially those who have either already sent their membership renewal cheques, be patient with us and rest assured that we will sort things out as soon as possible. Cheques will be paid intothe PHRAA account at the bank when received, but the issue of new Membership Certificates may be delayed, as will be Renewal notices. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.
