This is the “header.” To put something in the header, go to VIEW – HEADER AND FOOTER.

Wordart is created by going to INSERT – PICTURE – WORDART. There are a lot of different styles, colors and fonts to choose from.

BORDERS around the outside of the poster can be created by going to FORMAT – BORDERS & SHADING – PAGE BORDER. There are many settings, styles, colors, and widths that you can choose to use.

Arrows, and a lot of other shapes like circles, squares, stars, and lines can be created by clicking on INSERT – PICTURE –AUTOSHAPES. A toolbar will open that you can use to insert those shapes.

Pictures can be inserted by going to INSERT – PICTURE – CLIPART. Search for the picture that you want.

Click on the little “dog” icon to change “text wrapping.” That will allow you to move the clipart behind or in front of the text. It will also allow the text to move around the picture in different ways. The example of wrapping with the race car is called “tight.” The Jeep is an example of “Behind Text.”
