The current events journal will be graded out of a total of Ten points. Below is an outline showing how to obtain each point. Articles must be from 2013.
Point 1: Submit your article on time

Point 4: Provide background information on the subject of the article (What is it?) 5-6 sentences
Point 5: Write a summary of your article in your own words. (5 or more sentences)
Point 6: Write why the article is important to you. (5-6 sentences)
Point 7: Write why the article is important to society (5-6 sentences)
Point 8: Define five difficult vocabulary words using complete sentences. Find the definitions online.
Point 9: Email your completed journal to me: as an attachment
Point 10: Journal is free of grammatical and spelling errors.
