Meeting Location
The 2013 Big Rivers Chapter Meeting will be held at Trophy Country near Huntsville, MO. Trophy Country is a 6,200 ranch with outstanding deer, turkey, and waterfowl hunting in addition to excellent fisheries. Trophy Country also facilitates many outdoor recreation opportunities including hiking, camping, photography, bird watching, berry picking, mushroom hunting, mountain biking, and scuba diving. Turkey hunting and fishing opportunities are available after the meeting. Contact Trophy Country for reservations.

Chukar Challenge Rules
Scoring:
20 points for each bagged chukar in hand
15 points for each “find” - flushed or pointed
10 points for each retrieve within 1 step of handler
5 points for each remaining loaded shell
360 max points
Ties scores will be broken 1st by retrieving points and 2nd by remaining shell points.
Regulations:
No Running with a gun
No alcoholic beverages
No E-collars or training devices
Bitches in heat will run last
All dogs must be kept on lead and away from challenge area
Handler must be behind blind while birds being set
All birds must be chukar and must be shot in air. Handler cannot pick up dead bird left by another handler and count toward their total.
12 shells allowed per handler
Field judges will accompany handlers in the field
