  • Weather Condition:

3- Introduction

In this section, write about the importance of transportation, traffic counts, objectives of traffic counts andmethods of traffic volume measurements.

4-Methodology

Describe the used method of traffic countsstarting from choosing the counting place to the endof data collection and analysis. Include some photos of the data collection site. Preferably, use the form of points to describe the methodology.

5- Data collection

Include a short introduction describing the place and time of data collection as well as the forms for this purpose. Present the collected data using tables in order to show traffic counts for each direction and for both directionsas well.

6-Calculations and Results

It must contain the following:

a-Peak Hour period (PH), indicate morning and evening peaks.

b-Peak Hour Volume (PHV).

c-Peak Hour Factor (PHF).

d-12 Hours Traffic Flow

e-Traffic Flow During Peak Hour

f-Vehicles classification Tables and chart

7- Conclusion

Comment on the results and comparisons.

8- Recommendations

Recommendations for similar works

Problems and difficulties faced during data collection and recommendations to overcome such problems and difficulties.

Important Notes:

1-The report must be in English language.

2-Calculations are made for two directions for all hours count

3-You should attach photos of the street

Example:

5-Data collection

A-East to West

B-West to East

C-Both directions (A+B)
