1. Prior to the regular Boyd County Board of Education meeting, a meeting was called at 6:30 p.m. to hear public comments regarding the proposed general fund tax levies of 52.5 cents on real property and 52.5 cents on personal property, the meeting was adjourned at 6:51 p.m. (No one commented to the general fund tax levies.)

7. Request to Address Board Chair - Annie Johnson, BCMS Band Director asked permission from the board to declare surplus old band instruments to Don Wilson Music for store credit towards purchasing new instruments. Mr. Osborne said it would be placed on September’s board agenda.

ACT and SAT Results were presented and reviewed with the board members by Rhonda Salisbury and Shawn Thornbury.
Kathy Rice, Federal Programs Director discussed and reviewed the 2010-2011 budget.
