- Organizational Impact of Recommendation
Describe the changes to the organization that result from the recommended solution. Include a description of any role, process, statute, or bargaining unit agreement affected.
Central Payroll Specialists will need to be trained to run a query for and investigate the entry of Tax Sheltered Annuities for ineligible employees. Agency Payroll Specialists will need to be trained on which employee’s are eligible.
- Process Solutions
Describe the possible Process Solutions. Include a description of impacts and benefits of each solution.
Option 1. The Agency Payroll Specialists would be trained not to enter tax sheltered annuity deductions for their employees if they are not eligible for the deduction. In addition, a query would be developed to warn Central payroll if an operator is adding a tax sheltered annuity deduction code that they should not be using. Central payroll could then investigate the circumstances and resolve the error.
