Processing Steps / Screen Shot
  1. Enter the employee selection criteria. Only those employees and Group IDs to which the user has been granted security access will be available.
Using Group ID as your search criteria will return a complete list of all students you are authorized to view time for.
  1. Once the employee selection criteria have been entered, click the button to execute the selection criteria.
When using the Last name or First name as criteria, also enter Group ID. This will help bring up your results quicker. /
  1. All employees meeting the selection criteria who have exceptions will now appear at the bottom of the page. Selected employees can be further narrowed down by clicking the button. Enter any additional filtering and click the button to apply the filter.
  2. The tab provides high-level information on the exception. Further details can be obtained by clicking the tab or the icon. Either of those controls will provide the details. Review the exceptions and check the Allow box where no correction to reported time is necessary.
  1. Each exception can be reviewed and the box checked as appropriate or the box can be selected to check the box for all exceptions. Be certain to only check the box where the exception should be allowed.
High severity exceptions cannot be allowed.
  1. Once all exceptions have been reviewed and the box checked as appropriate, click the button to save the updates.
  2. The Save Confirmation page is presented. Click the button to proceed.
  3. Note that the allowed exceptions are still showing on the page but the checkbox is no longer available. These exceptions have been allowed and will not show once the page is refreshed.
  4. If an exception was generated that requires an adjustment to the employee’s time, the hyperlink can be selected to navigate to the timesheet in order to adjust the employee’s time as necessary. See the ‘TL Enter Student Time’ Business Process Guide for detailed instructions on entering or updating time.
All High severity exceptions can only be cleared by correcting the original time or setup causing the exception. Nothing can be done on this page to address High severity exceptions. /
