1Purpose of the Post

The post holderwill deliver a high quality, proactive and professional administrative support to the Director of the Research Centre, CSPACE as well as to the Research Enterprise and Business Engagement team.

2Main Duties and Responsibilities

2.1To assist in the organisation of meetings and workshops including; scheduling; bookingrooms, catering requests and preparing relevant papers

2.2To support CSPACE meetings by taking accurate minutes and disseminating them appropriately

2.3To maintain accurate databases of publications of key members of CSPACE

2.4To undertake any other duties, commensurate with the nature and grading of thepost, that may be required.

This post holder is responsible to the Research Development Support Officers

5Contacts

Students, academic and administrative staff of the University, external organisations and the general public.

6Other Requirements (including any special items)

The actual responsibilities duties undertaken by the post holder will be defined in the context of the location and working pattern of the post holder by the line manager.

Some flexibility with regards to hours worked will occasionally be required to meet the needs of the University with advance planning and notice, and the post holder will receive time off in lieu as agreed with their line manager.

The University reserves the right to vary the duties and responsibilities of staff under conditions prescribed in national agreements.

The above duties may be altered to suit the future needs of the service. Staff are liable to serve at any of the University's places of employment as may be required.
