The following sessions—the Story of Self, The Story of Us and The Story of Now—were developed by Marshall Ganz and the New Organizing Institute. In these sessions we’ll discuss why story-telling matters, and provide good methods for harnessing the power of stories most effectively. The majority of these sessions will focus on story-telling in the context of actual public speaking (to all different sorts of audiences). However, the substance of these ideas can extend to story-telling through other communications processes as well—through email blasts, blog posts, online social media, even through the campaign itself, making your campaign the vehicle for telling and creating a collective story.
