General Information

This year’s bi-annual conference is being hosted by the “Kootenay Community Council & Self-Advocates of the Rockies” in conjunction of sponsorship from CLBC . This year’s theme is “Building & Celebrating Confidence in Knowledge.” There will be workshops on home share, relaxing strategies, guest speakers, etc.

On the Friday evening, there will be a dinner and dance. The theme for the dance will be country and western, so come dressed in your country and western clothing and anything else you may have that will fit. Come to party!

Registration

Sponsored tickets for the Full Conference (including shared hotel room) costis $35 and must be paid before the date of the conference. Registration will be based on first come, first serve basis as there are limited number of seats available at this price for Self-Advocates and their necessary support.

Non-sponsored tickets for the Conference costis $85 and must be paid before the date of the conference. No payment will be accepted at the door and it includes meals, presentations, and dance. “So, register now to avoid disappointment later.”

There are a limited number of sponsored tickets at $35 for Advocates and their supports per zone in the Southern Interior Region and it includes meals, hotel, and dance.
