Orchestra Remember there is NO orchestra rehearsal after school on Monday 25th April. Please be at the school for 6.45 in full school uniform (black shoes, no trainers) to play in the art show. Speak to Miss Macphail if you can’t make it.
Six Sensational Performances – Not To Be Missed – Make sure you are at The Bard’s Birthday Bash
Our Shakespeare Competition tomorrow will feature performances by pupils from S1 – S5 and should not be missed! Tomorrow, we have SIX performances by pupils in our All The World’s A Stage Competition. Our three judges are: Mrs Ogg, Mr Valentine and Sophie Wink in S6. The event will be opened by Queen Elizabeth 1 (from the Maths department) and closed by Prince Hamlet (from the Geography department)
Cakes, activities and music too, in the library at 1.00pm. Make sure you are part of our celebrations for Shakespeare.

Activity Day Payments for S1-2 – Friday periods 1 and 2 Could all S1 and 2 pupils please remember to bring their activity days payments to school tomorrow (Friday). These will not be taken in at registration – S2 will be taken to the staffroom by their period 1 teacher and S1 by their period 2 teacher. This will not necessarily be at the start of the period. As shown on the payment sheet, please make cheques payable to Elgin Academy School Fund. If you are bringing cash please try to bring the exact amount. If you still have the payment sheet then take it with you and it will be signed by the person collecting your money.
S2 Could all S2 Students who has a locker, please empty it and return their key to Mrs Meikleham at the Blue Floor Locker area during registration tomorrow, Thursday 21 April

S1 and S2 Sonnet CompetitionThe library has been FLOODED with sonnets and cards and they all look absolutely amazing. Mrs Grant is judging them and the winners will be announced tomorrow, at lunchtime in the library. Thank you for all your entries.

Modern Apprenticeship (Accounting) – NHS Grampian are opening this training programme to individuals aged 16 – 19 to be based within The Finance Team at Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen. Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 National 5 Grades with Maths at grade A or B, English and three others. You should already have achieved this at the time of application. Higher Psychology lecturers
Although the final date for the college programme is 27th April, Higher Psychology lecturers will be holding revision sessions, which we would ask you encourage the pupils to attend, should they not have exams. The sessions will be each Wednesday for the whole of May from 09.30 to 12.00.
S4-6 Biology Study Support Biology study support is available every Wednesday at lunchtime with Mrs Shaw orafter school from 3.25-4.25 with Mrs Gordon, Mrs Kerr and Miss Heptonstall for all Biology courses. Come along to the Biology department to get help with class work, access resources, to work on problem solving or data skills or to work on revision techniques and practice SQA past papers.
