ENLIGHT 2011:

Our Future is in Your Hands

WHAT: / This interactive retreat will focus on the leadership and personal development of up-and-coming leaders of the fraternity and sorority community at USF. Expect the following from this experience: deep and honest conversation about what it means to be a member of a fraternity/sorority, personal and leadership development activities, relationship building with members of other fraternities and sororities, and discussions on purpose, courage, leadership, integrity, and vision.
WHO: / One to two members within their first year of membership in each USF fraternity or sorority – depends on how many people from each organization apply!
WHEN: / March 4-5, 2011 (please be ready to depart by 5 pm on March 4 and return after 7 pm on March 5, 2011)
WHY: / This is a FREE opportunity for leadership development! It’s also a great stepping stone to learn skills for anyone wishing to become an officer in his/her organization.
HOW: / Apply and receive an official nomination from your chapter president. Application forms have been sent to each chapter president and can also be found online at www.usfgreeklife.com in the Applications tab. Applications are due by Friday, Feb. 11 at 5 pm. Notifications for those accepted to attend ENLIGHT will be sent on Friday, Feb. 18.

Things to Know:

·  You will need to stay for the duration of the event – from start to finish. That means: take off of work and make sure you don’t have any other commitments that weekend.

·  Meals will be provided for you.

·  The weekend is substance free (no alcohol, drugs or mood altering substances are allowed).

·  You are expected to be an active participant, step out of your comfort zone, and think outside of the box.

·  We will have fun!
