WEEKDAY MASS – 10 a.m. Daily
Wednesday is the Feast of St Kentigern (Mungo).
The Rosary is said each day during the week beginning at 9.40 a.m. and Saturday at 9.30 a.m.
SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION:
Saturday after morning Mass and after the Vigil Mass.
EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: Will take place each Tuesday from 10.30 - 11.30 a.m.
YEAR FOR PRIESTS: Pope Benedict XVI has called for a Year for Priests to be observed throughout the world. It is hoped that you will devote some time before the Blessed Sacrament during Holy Hour which takes place each Tuesday from 10.30 – 11.30 a.m. to pray for the Priesthood. Also each Saturday morning Rosary will be offered for the Priesthood (9.30 a.m.).
MASSES NEXT WEEKEND:
Saturday Vigil 6.00 p.m. & Sunday 10 a.m.
The children preparing for the Sacraments are welcome to come out each Sunday at Holy Communion and receive a blessing from the priest or from a Eucharistic Minister. This applies also to parents who are not receiving Communion. This is open to all children who have not yet received the sacraments.
Next Sunday is the 2nd Sunday of the Year – C
PULPIT EXCHANGE: The week of Prayer for Christian Unity begins on Monday, 18th January. To mark this, we have our usual exchange of pulpits next Sunday 17th January. The Reverend Trish Laird, Church of the Nazarene, will preach here. I’m sure you will give her a warm welcome.

ST MARY’S SOCIAL GROUP: Next meeting will be held today, Sunday 10th January at 11.15 a.m. in Church Hall. New members will be made most welcome.

COMMUNITY MINIBUS SERVICE TO INVERCLYDE HOSPITAL: It is proposed to run a community Mini bus service one afternoon a week to Inverclyde Hospital. If you would like to use this service please take a leaflet in Church porch, fill it in and return it to me.
USED POSTAGE STAMPS: Please keep your used postage stamps – see box in porch. Collected to raise money for St Patrick’s Missionary Society.
ROSARY BEADS: There is a box in the porch for old or broken rosary beads. (For Russia)
CROSSHOUSE HOSPITAL –Fr Martin Chambers is the Chaplain. He will visit all R.C. patients weekly if he knows of their admission. Please ask the Ward Sister to let the Chaplain know of their admission. In urgent cases call Fr Chambers on 01563 533587.
MEALS ON WHEELS: Volunteers are needed to help deliver meals to the housebound at lunchtime. If you can spare a few hours per month as a driver or helper, please contact Sheila 675573.
