ACADEMY COACH development grant
Application Form
Boccia England’s network of Athlete Academies give invited BC1-4’s more frequent coaching input in their local area as part of the England Talent Pathway. The Academies meet 8 times a year, led by an Academy Lead and supported by a team of volunteer coaches. This grant is designed to strengthen and develop the quality of the coaching provision for our most talented athletes.
We are recruiting for additional coaches to join our Academies and we are offering Coach Development Grants of £250 or £500 to support aspiring coaches to complete their Level 1Award or Level 2Certificate, prior to supporting their local academy as a coach.
COACH DEVELOPMENT GRANTS
Financial assistance of £250 (Level 1) or £500 (Level 2) to fund the delegate fee of attending either of the following courses;

COMMITMENT
- Attendance at all 3 days / 5 days of the relevant coaching course.
- Attendance as volunteer coach at a minimum of 3 Academy sessions over the next year (see dates below).
- You will be volunteering under the supervision of our Academy Lead and working with talented BC1-4 players.Attendance at these sessions must be agreed with the relevant Academy Lead.

Payment
If your application is successful you will be required to paythe full cost of the course upfront to secure a place on the course. You will be refunded this fee upon completion of your 3 voluntary academy sessions.
Terms and Conditions
In applying for this grant you are confirming you are willing to comply with the following terms and conditions:
- Any grant received must be used for exactly the purpose of contributing towards the cost of a Level 1 or Level 2Boccia coaching qualification.
- Any successful grant applicant may be required to follow the reporting criteria at the request of Boccia England.
- Travel and Accommodation for the course is at your own expense.
- The support will be recognised as a one off award and does not imply Boccia England is committed to any future funding.
