If you have attended a large Plum Village retreat before and you wish to apply to be part of the Family Coordinator and Volunteer Program, you must fill out this form and send it back to us with a recent photo for consideration.
If your visit to PlumVillage is dependant upon serving as a family coordinator due to financial concerns, please DO NOT make your travel arrangements (i.e. purchase tickets for air or train travel) until you have received written confirmation from the Registration Office.
Please note that we cannot consider you for the FCP if you have not been to PlumVillagebefore or in our other practice centres.

SECTION 4 – AGREEMENTS
- I am 18 years of age or older.
- I will practice to live in harmony with the Sangha and the Sangha’s way of life.
- I am aware that working meditation and living harmoniously with the other members of the community is part of the FCP.
- I will be flexible when it comes to rooming. I understand that priority is given to participants who paythe full contribution and I may be asked to stay in a tent or share a dormitory.
- I will be responsible for communicating with the Scholarship and FCP Committee if I have any special rooming needs.
- A reduction of 25-50% of my stay will depend on my practice and other skills I can contribute. If the responsibility I accept is considerable, the percentage of the reduction could reach up to 75%.
- I will commit myself to this Programme for the whole of the retreat or the period agreed upon.
- I am aware that the number of participants accepted into the programme may vary according to the community’s needs and the capacity of taking care of the participants.
- I am aware that the details of the programme are subject to change andare agreed upon by the Scholarship and FCP Committee.
- I will be responsible for communicating with the Scholarship and FCP Committee about any health issues that I may have.
- I will participate in as many activities of the retreat as my FCP assignment allows me to, knowing that some assignmentswill require more time. For example: assisting in the areas of Children and Teens Program, Meditation Hall, Cleaning (dining room, toilets, showers etc.), preparing breakfast, assisting the Registration Office and Guest Team on arrivals and departure days, etc.
- I am aware that I may need to usesome of my personal time to complete certain responsibilities that I have accepted.
- I will try my best to arrive and depart2, 3 or more days before and after the retreat, to participate in the preparations, to get acquainted with my responsibility and to help clean up after the retreat.
- I will be responsible for communicating with the family coordinator if I am assignedto areas that I feel are beyond my experience and/or that may affect my well-being.
- I will be fully responsible for the tools/equipment I may bring and I release Plum Village of all liabilities in the event of any damage that occurs to those tools/equipment.
- The monastics will help guide and support me in the programme. I am prepared to attend regular meetings with the committee and a mentor (if needed).
