Rules:Gladiators will have 15 minutes on the clock each, Praetorian Guard & Centurions 20 minutes each and Generals 30 minutes each, to complete the game. FIDE Rapid play rules will apply, with exception from the Tournament Controllers.

Gladiators Arena: - For playersgraded 60 or below only.(Designed for total beginners and players who have never played in a tournament or still start for the Bronze Award)

RenaissanceAcademy only: by attending this event you will obtain your Steel Award Certificate, if you have already achieved this, 2/5 points or more will complete the tournament section on your Bronze Certificate.

To be eligible for Certificates you must be aged between 5 – 25 and be a member of the RenaissanceAcademy or connected via your school, youth club, community project or be a part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme. Play offs may be required to sort positions for prizes. Controllers reserve the right to move entrants from section to section when needed and change the qualification for entrants to each section if required.
