Write an email to me explaining the pro and cons of mobile technology in business. (10 points)
Technology usually improves an old invention. In a paragraph or two explain how the Ipad or tablets have improved on PC’s. (15 points)
List 10 different types of computer software and explain how they can be used in business. (10 points)
Choose one piece of technology and create a power point about that piece of technology. Explain how it can be used in business. (10 points)

B Level: no more than 40 points

Look up future trends in technology that will affect the workplace. Write a newspaper article on the impact some of these trends may have on the business world. (20 points)
Ask family members and friends about the ways they use computers and the types of software they use. Write at least a one page report about your findings. (20 points)
Interview an older family member about the advanced in technology in his or her life time. Find out what computers were like when he or she first entered the workplace. Ask how he or she communicated with other workers or companies. Ask them what the positives and the negatives of technology has been. (20 points)

A Level: no more than 40 points

Research the different types of electronic communications that business use, including video conferencing and telephone conferencing. Write a one page report on your findings. (20 points)
Research the work of a person that works in the Informational Technology area (computer programmers, computer software engineers, video game creator, Computer Repair technician, Web Designer, etc.) Write a 1 to 2 page report that describes that career and what the job outlook will be in 10 years. (20 points)
Go to page 341 and do the Role Play number 30. You will be doing all except for actually presenting it in class. (40 points)
