Dear Meadows of Kanapaha Homeowners:
It is that time of year again when the MOK Board of Directors begins to plan for the coming Annual Meeting/elections. The Board of Directors has voted to have the Annual Meeting at the Kanapaha Presbyterian Church on Sunday, January 21, 2018, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. A quorum of 30% of the homeowners, or 50 members, is required to conduct an election.
The purpose of the meeting will be to elect members to the Board of Directors, discuss and approve a budget for 2018 and attend to all other necessary business, as warranted. The Board will allow mail-in ballots and proxy ballots, in addition to in-person voting. A form for indicating your willingness to run for a Board position is enclosed. In addition to the nominations received pre-meeting, nominations will be taken from the floor at the meeting. A ballot, a proxy and the agenda will be mailed in earlyJanuary 2018. Please pay close attention to the instructions that will come with the ballots.

At the November 15, 2017, Board meeting it was decided to keep the annual dues for the association at the current rate of $250.00 if the dues are paid by March 1, 2018. After March 1st the dues owed will then be $275.00. The dues statement isenclosed to save postage on an additional mailing. The due date remains the same, January 31, 2018.
