Martine Cosby is the supervisor of the Prosecutor’s Record Room, where she began her service in 1989, after graduating from Phillips Business School. A year later, she was transferred to the Complaint and Intake Unit, where she worked until 2010, when she became the Record Room Supervisor. This is an important position, where she supervises a staff of 10 employees plus student interns, and oversees an extensive file management system. This is “information central,” the source for other employees, court personnel, administrative personnel and law enforcement agencies from New Jersey or out of state. The accuracy and efficiency of this Unit is essential, and Martine makes sure that all is in order. Married to an East Orange Fireman, she enjoys spending time with her two children…and especially her grandkids…as well as singing in the choir of Quinn Chapel AME Church. Thank you for your years of valuable service to our citizens.

Det. William Veniero has been with the Essex County Sheriff’s Office for six years, the first five of them in the Courts Division. “Strong but silent,” Det. Veniero is described by his supervisors as flexible, professional and dedicated. Although only in the Detective Bureau, his current assignment, for a short time, he already exhibits the poise of a seasoned detective. He is conscientious and highly motivated, demonstrating initiative in the absence of orders, which is the sign of a professional on the way up.

Rachel ReBrovich is an essential part of the Essex County Division of Community Action team, which provides support for 30 non-profit organizations that serve many of our neediest residents. Rachel is responsible for maintaining their expenditure reports on a monthly basis, processing payment vouchers for cost reimbursements, and handling office purchasing matters. That is the job description – but it hardly covers the real value to her colleagues. She even prepares spreadsheets for office events, keeping track of who has paid, in an orderly fashion. Always willing to pitch in, always looking for ways to increase office efficiency, Rachel, according to her Director, is “intelligent, conscientious, honest, and hardworking…always Putting Essex County First.”
