Webinar Series: Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Developmental Disabilities “Screening and BEYOND”

On the main training/ e-learning page:
Welcome to the online Continuing Medical Education (CME) site created through partnership among the American Academy of Pediatrics, Maryland Chapter, the Parents’ Place of Maryland, and the Office for Genetics and People with Special Health Care Needs at the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. These videos were recorded as part of the “Screening and Beyond” Quality Improvement webinar, the main purpose of which was to improve developmental and autism screening rates among pediatric providers in Maryland – do we need to add more about the systems’ change grants, or should we scrap the part about the Learning Collaborative altogether?
This portal offers four CME video courses:

  1. Emotional, Behavioral, and Developmental Screening and Surveillance
  2. Implementation of Screening and Tool Selection
  3. Referrals for Abnormal Screens
  4. Importance of Early Intervention
