There are many different types of promotional materials that you can utilise to promote your Library or Information Service. This briefing will give a list of different types of promotional items with examples.
Bags

Bookmarks

Bottles

A short video or DVD about your Library or Information Service could also be created to show potential users what you have to offer.
Fans

Everyone needs a key ring and just think every time they get their keys out they will remember the library.

Mouse mats are something that people look at throughout the day and thus can usefully remind customers of the electronic library available to them when they need it.

Posters
Posters are a quick and easy way to promote a library and can be taken to conferences for displays. It is certainly an eye-catching image.

Post-it notes/Sticky notes
Everyone uses post-it notes these days so why not remind your customers of the library each time they write a note.
