II. OPENING
The regular meeting of the AYHA was called to order at 7:00 pm on Monday, February 6, 2017 at the Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls, NY.

V. TREASURERS REPORT
A Treasurers report was not provided for the meeting. The report will be sent to the Executive Board for review.
VI. COMMITTEE REPORTS
North Stars– No Report
Boys Tournament Director – The Extreme Freeze ‘B’ Tournament was a success. The tournament raffle, and shirts raised just over $2,900. Ogdensburg won in all divisions. The Midget Tournament is scheduled for March 17-19, 2017. There are 2 committed teams and 8 interested. A final team count and more information will follow at the March Board meeting.
Director of ECHL Relations– A 21 game report for ticket sales was published and the Association is still currently meeting contract ticket sales for the 2016-17 season.
Ways and Means – No Report
Registrar –Registrar is beginning the process for pre-registration which will begin April 1, 2017. The Association will review membership fees, volunteer hours and assessments and make changes as the Association and board sees fit for its membership. The Tourney machine app will be used for the Associations home tournaments and Gazzillo Cup.
Marketing & Communications – Try Hockey for free is scheduled for February 25, 2017 at the Glens Falls Civic Center. The Mom and Grandma hockey t-shirts are still accepting orders, and have currently yielded $8700.
Concessions- New registers need to be purchased for the concession stand and the skate sharpening room. The slushie machine needs to be repaired. An estimate for repairs will be presented at the nextboard meeting.For next season all volunteer hours for open skates, and Highschool games will be double time.
Facilities– The City put a heater in the Zamboni room to help with it freezing up. Old Mini nets need fixing and can be stored at the Civic Center for Termite I practices. A motion was made and the board approved the purchase of 3 pieces of glass for $1200-1500. Please make sure that all coaches and teams are cleaning up locker rooms, and equipment room after practices and games.
Scheduler – The Bantam Sectional schedule will have set times. There will be extra ice sheets during the week of February 18th-25th due to February school break.
ACE– No Report
Boys Travel Director–Jason Denno volunteered and was selected as the Bantam Sectionals Tournament chair. A motion was made and the board approved a proposal to the Section II teams for Adirondack Youth Hockey to Host a Section II Midget 18u and/or 16u team. The team will have a paid head coach, 20 practices, and 15 home games with ice officials, and will cost approximately $1200/skater. The team will run from August 1st through sectionals. More information will follow in the upcoming meetings.
