GUIDE TO PURCHASING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION USING WEBCOLLECT.
Webcollect payment method using debit or credit cards, is done via a service provider SAGE PAY. It has the highest level of card data security (PCI DSS Level 1 compliant) to provide you with peace of mind and protect you against fraud.
The first time you will use Webcollect, you may find the process a little lengthy. However, once completed, your subscription, may in the forthcoming years, be renewed quickly & effortlessly.
Here are the steps to follow: (However, if for whatever reason you need help, please contact either Richard (Star) Booth or Jean-Louis Simons or Sue Capper in the office, who will be more than happy to assist you).

Sign up, by filling your name etc… then click on “save”. Bravo, you are now a Member of “WKSC Webcollect”.
- Click on West Kirby Sailing Club (Top of the page), then at the bottom, middle of the page:
click on “Browse subscriptions”
- At the top of the screen you will find an explanation of what to do and how to do it.
Subscriptions
If you are applying for membership please add the required subscription(s) and entrance fee for new members to your basket. You should choose and "add to your basket" whichever and as many subscription products as apply to you and members of your family. For example, two parents or partners and two children under 18, add one "Family Membership" to your basket. One senior member;add one "Adult Membership"to your basket. Two parents or partners and2 young adults over 18, one living as an outport, you should choose: one adult couples membership, one young adult membership and one young adult outportmembership.
You will then be prompted to enter / update additional information prior to Checkout. If you arean adult applying onlyfor a Junior Membership on behalf of a Junior, please enter your own details to Sign Up - you will then be prompted to enter the relevant junior'sdetails when you complete the membership application and subscription forms.
- Study which subscription category is the right one for youand for your family members, partners etc…
Which subscription, or combination of subscription products, is best for you?
- Family- Parents and children living at the same address.
- Adult Couples- Two persons living at the same address.
- Adult- Single membership aged 26 and overon the 1st Octoberin the relevant subscription year
- Young Adult- Single person aged between 18 and 26 on the 1st October in the relevant subscription year.
- Junior- Single person aged under 18 on the 1st October in the relevant subscription year.
- Partner -Wife, Partner or Surviving partner (of previous WKSC Member).
- Senior- Available to WKSCmembers over 65, having been a full member for at least 8 years, on the 1st October in the relevant subscription year
- Outport- A member Who lives outside the following postcodes:AllL, CH, CW, WA, M, WN, BL and PR4 to 9, SK3, SK4 and SK8 to 14, LL11 to 22 and LL28to 32.
- Choose one or more subscription category (s) as applicable to you and right click on “Add to basket”.
There are 8 different subscription categories.
The category number 8 is split between Youth Adult Outport and Adult Outport, the difference being the amount of entrance fee payable for a Youth Adult Outport (£25) and for an Adult Outport (£50), otherwise they are both the same.
When adding a sub to your basket, a screen will appear on the top right hand corner. This will stay visible for approximately 5 seconds or for as long as you maintain your cursor over the screen, then disappear, allowing you to select another category, or go to checkout.
- Once you have competed your selection (s), please Double check your basket by clicking on “My Basket” where you will find all subscription products you have selected. Once you are satisfied that you have chosen the right subscriptions go to Checkout by right clicking on “Checkout” (Top right-hand corner of the page):
- You will be directed to the following screen (in the event the subscriptions are bought for more than one family member):
The left screen “Family members” allows you to decide who the “Family admin” should be by ticking in the appropriate box. It will allow this member of your family to renew subscription on behalf of the other members of your family, and edit their details.
If you cannot find a family member under the heading “Family members” or if you wish to add another Family member, please do so by filling in the details in the screen on the right-hand side “Add new Family member”.
The bottom half of this page, you will then find:
This is straight forward. Simply assign which member of your family the sub relates to. If you do not see this screen, then all your subs are already correctly assigned.
- Proceed to Family details and check out. You will be directed to the following screen:
Each member of your family will be shown with its own personal tab. Click on each and check / amend / complete the requested information.
- Click on “Proceed to check out”
You may be requested to complete any missing information as well as add an emergency contact name and number for everyone.
- The next screen you will be asked to complete is the information on
A)The boats you own
B)Whether you have any sailing qualifications
C)Which activity you are prepared to participate in
D)And finally, CASC Participation i.e. whether you and any members of your family have participated 12 times in the activities of the club. This can be any activities in support of the sport of sailing, including catering, assisting in the organisation of races, team racing etc…
- The screen you will then see is the following:
This will give you one last chance to double check what you have ordered, giving you the opportunity to “remove” any or all unwanted items, and if so, start again. Once you are satisfied that you are buying the right subscription for you, click on “enter payment” and proceed to enter your
credit card details. There are many acceptable credit cards.
If you elect to pay by cash or cheque, please proceed to the Office and hand over cash or cheque to our Administrator, Sue Capper, who will write down your necessary details.
You will be given one last chance to check the subscription products you have ordered:
Then click on “Place order” to finalise your purchase.
- You will receive an email confirmation of your purchase.
