Application deadline is September 1, 2017 and all Booth Fees must be paid by September 1,2017 unless other arrangements have been made and previously discussed.

Do not mail a physical check to the above address; apps only! Pay online via the links sent to you in the email you received upon acceptance of your application. Paypal available via link, square available via request only or over the phone.

All vehicles must be moved from festival area and into the designatedparking area 1 hour priorto the public event starttime (the Faire begins at 10am and ends at5pm). Grounds will be open to vendors at 7:00am. Vendors must be parked in adjacent parking lot by 9am and clear of customer parking, but feel free to continue setting up as faire doesn’t open until 10am. BOOTHS MAY BE TAKEN DOWN AFTER 5:00 pm. Everything must be cleaned up and out by 7pm.

  1. Youwillprovideyourownbooth.Wemusthaveexactsizeofyourexhibit/space requirementsand an accurate description ofits design.Boothspaces will adjoin each other, so be specific.The Celtic Faire (TCF) reserves the right to not allow setupof any booth which might a)Impede pedestrians or traffic; b)Appear unsightly; c) Have jagged edges or projections which couldcause pedestrian’s harm; d) Does not fit with the faire’s overall Theme; or e) Does not appear tobe of soundconstruction.
  1. This is a themed event. Please have your vending area decorated to fit the Celtic/fantasy theme as much as possible and also please have feel free to have staff in Celtic/fantasy/ren faire themedapparel. If you have any questions regarding this, feel free to message or call Rebekah Sharpe.
  1. Vendorsmustprovideallfurnitureandsalesspaceforyourexhibit (i.e. tables, chairs, etc.).Your booth cover mustbe fire retardant.
  1. TCFwillassignboothspacesona"FIRSTCOMEBASIS"(whenwereceive yoursigned contract& booth fees).You will be notified,by phone calland/or e-mail, on your acceptance. After you have been accepted you will be emailed a PayPal link to pay for your booth fees. When you arriveto set up your booth,you will receive your space assignment.Selection and placement of vendors is at the sole discretion ofthe Celtic Faire Planning Board.All decisions arefinal.
  1. Nopersonundertheageof16shallbeallowedinboothswithouta parent/adult present.
  1. TCFreservestherighttolimitthenumberofvendorssellinglikeproducts.
  1. TCFreservestherighttorestrictthesaleofproduct(s)ifitisnot noted on your application.All merchandise must be suitablefor afamily-type atmosphere.
  1. No tent spikes or damaging of the grass or foliage on the event grounds.
  1. Allextensioncordsmustbeaminimumof#10gauge.No2wire extensioncordsallowed. Inspectionwillbeperformed.TCF recommends up to 50 yardsof extension cord. There is very limited amount of power outlets, so please inform us in your application if access to a power outlet is a necessity. WE RECOMMEND YOU BRING YOUR OWN EXTENSION CORDS.
  1. The vendor agreesto hold thecityof Hillsboro,Shute Park,Celtic Women’s Spirituality, Blessed Halos and The Celtic Faire harmless and free from liability due to damage, loss, theft, orbodily injury to,the vendors, their agents,employees, or third party while in or onthe premises occupied bythe vendor or event grounds.
  1. Itis the responsibilityof allfood vendors toprovidetheirowninsurance protection forliability.An insurance binder must beincluded withapplication.
  1. All booth feesmust be paid for in advance through the PayPal link provided after you are accepted.Your contract will not be accepted withoutsignatures ofthe responsibleparties and any associated fees.No checks will be accepted as payment.
  1. As we haveno control over theweatherconditions,comepreparedin theevent ofrain.There will beno refunds.(TCF is heldoutside)
  1. Allmattersnot coveredin theseconditionsaresubjectto thedecision of TCF andall decisions are final.
  1. IMPORTANT* Knives cannotbe sold tochildren under18!Vendersshould post a sign stating such. Knives, Swords etc. must be peace tied after sale.
  1. Allcancellations mustbe receivedinwriting via emailno later than September 1st, 2016. Anycancellation after September 1,2016 forfeits all fees paid. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  1. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TOREFUSE APPLICATIONS.

The following applies to all Food Vendors:

Grease cannot be dumped into dumpsters. Food vendors must submit a detailed menu withtheir signed boothapplication.TCF reserves theright to limit the number ofvendorsselling the same type of food. Food vendors MUST secure thenecessary food licenses PRIOR to set-up.For permit information, contact: Washington County 155 N First Ave, Hillsboro, OR 97124 or Phone: (503) 846-8611.The HealthDepartment will inspect your boothfor compliance on the day.
